Hi, I'm Jessica.
I combine creative thinking with data to solve real business problems.
Most marketing decisions are made on instinct. Most data teams struggle to influence decisions.
I work between both worlds.
My background is in data science and computer engineering, but the work I find most meaningful sits at the intersection of customer insight and marketing action understanding what drives behaviour, and translating that into better campaigns, sharper CRM, and clearer reporting.
The sector changes. The skills transfer.
I've applied this approach in B2B tech and fintech, working with enterprise clients across London and New York. The same analytical rigour customer segmentation, lifecycle strategy, performance reporting applies equally to hospitality, beauty, wellness, retail, and SaaS.

I work across marketing, data and commercial strategy, using customer and market insight to shape positioning, campaigns and decisions, then using data to measure performance and improve what happens next.

Some of the books that have shaped how I think about business, people, decision-making and growth.
“The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.”Carl Jung, Modern Man in Search of a Soul. I first came across it in The Personal MBA.
It is a useful corrective in this work. The segment that responds to one campaign ignores the next, the metric that matters to one business is noise to another, and the model that performs well on one dataset fails on the next. Most of the job is working out which case you are actually in before deciding what to do about it.
Selected writing on marketing, data and the commercial questions in between.
A product can be beautifully designed, technically impressive and still completely irrelevant to the person buying it.

Computer engineering, data science, marketing and artificial intelligence all shaped the same way of thinking. I just didn't realise it at the time.
